November Update I

I’ve been very productive this past week! I finished the book, “Unbound,” (which I hope the third book comes out soon!), completed Days 1-8 of the decluttering game, completed 5 more block rows on the blanket, and finished the cozy crochet planter pot holder project.

I am so excited for the blanket! I just have 10 more block rows left to complete before I work on the border. Unfortunately, I believe I will need to purchase 3-4 more of the dark blue yarn, but I’ll wait until Black Friday since I still have some of that color left.

I now have a total of 18 block rows.

(I will also need to buy more black yarn for the border on the pink/white/black blanket)

As for the cozy crochet planter pot holder, I managed to create 2 and a half holders! I can’t believe they were made from t-shirts! I do have an unworn t-shirt that I believe I could use the bottom portion for more t-shirt yarn so that I can complete the last holder. This project was pretty quick, each one took me about half an hour to make, which was really fun!

The final products! I'm so excited to use them!

Lastly, the November minimalist game is actually almost finished. I had mentioned in my prior post that I had started the game early so that I can post some items on Mercari to see if I can sell them. The only day that I have left to fulfill is Day 15, so that’s 15 more items until I complete November’s minimalist game! Woohoo! I am so excited. Here is what I decluttered for Days 1-8:

Day 1: I decided to count this entire pile of labels to be shredded as one pile. I'm so thankful for this game because these have been lying around here forever.

Day 2: Two boots

Day 3: Three nail polishes

Day 4: Four unused jewelry items

Day 5: Handmade masks that have barely been used, but are crinkled due to being washed and dried.

Day 6: Hand salve and lip balm that I got about 5 years ago, but never used.

Day 7: Five re-useable bags and Two pouches =  7 items

Day 8: Seven lanyards and one plastic bag for the lanyards to go in = 8 items

As always, thank you so much for reading and stay tune for next week’s update! I’m hoping to get the blue blanket completed this week so that I can have the rest of November to work on the border. I also plan to start a book series that I borrowed from the library called “The Merciful Crow” and “The Faithless Hawk”.
